[06-10-2026] Orange County, CA – Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck by Vehicle in Santa Ana

A 78-year-old woman, identified as Sara T., died after being struck by a vehicle in Santa Ana on Wednesday morning, June 10, 2026.

According to the Santa Ana Police Department, officers responded to the incident at around 7:10 a.m. in the area near Keller Avenue and Marine Street.

Authorities reported that the victim was crossing the street when she was hit by an oncoming vehicle. Responding officers found her lying in the roadway with significant injuries. She was transported to a hospital, where she died the following day.

The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Police stated that impairment did not appear to be a factor in the crash.

The Santa Ana Police Department’s Collision Investigation Unit is handling the case.
