[06-27-2026] Sacramento County, CA – Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Vehicle Near Watt Ave. and Kings Way

A 56-year-old man was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Sacramento early Saturday morning, June 27, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred just after midnight near Watt Avenue and Kings Way. 

Investigators said the pedestrian, identified as Willie B., was outside a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a vehicle.

CHP reported that the driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing, and it has not been determined whether additional charges will be filed.
