A driver suffered serious injuries after a vehicle crashed into a home and caught fire in San Ramon, Contra Costa County, on Monday night, July 27, 2026.
According to the San Ramon Police Department, officers and firefighters responded at around 9:09 p.m. to the 10800 block of Foxboro Circle after receiving reports of a vehicle collision with a residence. Investigators said the driver may have experienced a medical emergency before the crash.
The driver sustained burn injuries and was airlifted to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment. Two passengers were also in the vehicle.
One passenger suffered minor injuries and was treated and released at the scene, while the other was not injured. No residents of the home were hurt.
Authorities said the vehicle was destroyed in the fire, and the residence sustained moderate damage.
