[08-01-2026] San Diego County, CA – One Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle Crash in Fallbrook

One person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash in Fallbrook, San Diego County, early Saturday morning, August 1, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported around 1:52 a.m. in the 700 block of Old Stage Road. The crash involved a white Nissan and a gray Hyundai.

Emergency crews responded after receiving reports that one driver was trapped inside a vehicle. Fire personnel extricated the occupant, who was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of the driver’s injuries has not been released.

Authorities also reported that one of the vehicles struck a utility pole during the collision.

The investigation remains ongoing.
