Two people were killed in a crash in Fairfield on Saturday evening, August 8, 2026.
According to the Fairfield Police Department, the crash occurred after 5:30 p.m. on Neitzel Road off of Interstate 80.
The two victims were the only occupants of the vehicle. Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not released their identities.
The Fairfield Police Department Major Accident Investigations Team continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
