A male rider was killed following a motorcycle vs. vehicle collision in Visalia on Thursday afternoon, April 25, 2024.
According to the Visalia Police Department, the deadly crash happened at about 5:32 p.m. at the intersection of Demaree Street and Coppola Avenue.
During the initial investigation, it was determined that the motorcycle struck the vehicle as it was turning onto Coppola Avenue from southbound Demaree Street.
Responders quickly came to the aid of the rider and transported him to a local hospital, where he was declared dead moments later. It is unclear if the driver of the vehicle was injured.
Police do not suspect that alcohol or drugs played a factor in the fatal accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
