A 20-year-old California City man, identified as Juantay O., was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 58 in Mojave, Kern County, early Saturday morning, August 22, 2026.
According to the Kern County Coroner’s Office, the incident occurred around 3:53 a.m. on Highway 58, east of Highway 14.
Authorities said the victim was struck by a vehicle and died at the scene.
