A pedestrian was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash in Huntington Beach on Monday night, August 31, 2026.
According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, officers responded shortly before 8:00 p.m. to Magnolia Street, just south of Garfield Avenue.
Police found an adult man who had been struck by a vehicle, but the driver was no longer at the scene. Fire department personnel transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital.
As of Tuesday, the man remained hospitalized in stable but critical condition. Authorities have not released his identity.
Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision and identify the driver involved.
