[09-02-2026] San Joaquin County, CA – Man Killed in Head-On Crash Near Stockton

A man was killed in a head-on collision involving a pickup truck and a sedan outside Stockton on Wednesday evening, September 2, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 6:16 p.m. near Mariposa and Van Allen roads.

The driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released his identity.

It remains unknown whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the collision.

The CHP continues to investigate the fatal crash.
