A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Lemon Grove, San Diego County, early Sunday morning, September 13, 2026.

According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office, the collision occurred shortly after 1:15 a.m. at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Lemon Grove Avenue.

Sheriff’s officials said a silver Chevrolet Malibu struck the pedestrian and then left the scene. Authorities reported that the vehicle sustained front-end damage.
