A 25-year-old motorcyclist was killed, and another rider was seriously injured in a collision involving two motorcycles in Coronado on Wednesday night, September 16, 2026.
According to the Coronado Police Department, officers responded at around 11:34 p.m. to the 7500 block of Silver Strand Boulevard, also known as State Route 75, following reports of the crash.
Both motorcyclists were transported to a local hospital. Police said the 25-year-old man was pronounced dead, while the other rider suffered serious injuries. The age of the injured motorcyclist was not provided.
Detectives with the department’s Investigations Unit and Traffic Unit responded to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision. Police were also investigating whether drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash.
