[09-18-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Woman Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle in Lucerne Valley

A woman believed to be in her late 60s died after being struck by a pickup truck in Lucerne Valley, San Bernardino County, on Friday evening, September 18, 2026.

According to California Highway Patrol incident logs, the incident was reported at around 6:28 p.m. along the eastbound lanes of State Route 18 near Christenson Road.

Initial reports indicated that a tan Ford F-150 struck the pedestrian. The pedestrian was found unresponsive in the roadway following the incident. She was transported to St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, where she was pronounced dead at around 7:10 p.m.

The Ford driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
