[09-21-2026] Santa Barbara County, CA – Four Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101

Four people were injured in a four-vehicle collision on Highway 101 between Los Alamos and Buellton in Santa Barbara County on Monday morning, September 21, 2026.

According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, emergency crews responded to the incident at around 5:08 a.m. on the southbound side of Highway 101.

Fire department spokesperson Karen Cruz-Orduña said one of the vehicles rolled over during the collision. Three people sustained minor injuries, while one person suffered moderate injuries.

Two of the injured individuals were transported by ground ambulance to a hospital. The other two declined medical care, according to Cruz-Orduña.

Additional details about the circumstances leading to the collision were not immediately available.

The investigation remains ongoing.
