A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a Mercedes-Benz in Forestville, Sonoma County, on Thursday evening, October 8, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers received a report of the crash at around 6:10 p.m. at the intersection of Mirabel Road and Giusti Road.
CHP’s preliminary investigation found that the Mercedes-Benz driver had stopped on Giusti Road before proceeding across Mirabel Road toward Davis Street.
As the Mercedes-Benz entered the intersection, a motorcycle traveling northbound on Mirabel Road at a reported high rate of speed struck the front of the vehicle.
The impact ejected the motorcyclist, who was pronounced dead at the scene by fire personnel.
Authorities said the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office Coroner’s Office would release the motorcyclist’s identity.
CHP continues to investigate the fatal collision.
