Minor injuries were reported in a suspected DUI collision at a Taco Bell drive-thru in Bakersfield on Friday night, October 23, 2026.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, officers responded at around 10:45 p.m. to the restaurant at 3200 California Avenue, near Oak Street.
A preliminary investigation found that 33-year-old Joseph N. crossed the center divider on California Avenue and struck a vehicle in the drive-thru. Officers arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Police did not specify how many people sustained minor injuries. Additional details about the collision were not immediately available.
