A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in east Bakersfield on Thursday morning, May 16, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 10:15 a.m. on Niles Street near Oswell Street in front of “Derrick’s Liquor.”
Authorities stated that a person was hit by a vehicle and then pulled out of the road. The victim sustained minor injuries following the crash. The extent of their injuries, as well as their condition, remain unknown.
