A rider was killed following a motorcycle vs. vehicle crash in Wildomar on Monday afternoon, May 27, 2024.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the collision happened around 2:40 p.m. near the intersection of Grape and Olive Streets.
Authorities stated that a rider on his motorcycle was fatally struck by a vehicle. The responding officials performed lifesaving measures on the victim before being transported to a hospital, where he died. His identity was withheld pending notification of his relatives.
It is unknown what caused the collision. The driver stayed at the scene to cooperate with the investigation. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been factors in the crash.
Further information on the incident has yet to be released by the police. Investigations are ongoing.
