[05-25-2024] Driver Killed Following Two-Vehicle Collision on Albany Street in Delano A driver was killed following a two-vehicle collision in Delano on Saturday morning, May 25, 2024. 

According to the Delano Police Department, the crash happened around 8:05 a.m. at the 100 block of Albany Street. 

Authorities stated that two vehicles were involved in the collision, including a maroon Hyundai SUV. The driver of the Hyundai, only identified as female, was declared dead at the scene. At this time, it is unknown who is at fault and what caused the collision. 

Police said that the driver of the other vehicle remained on the scene and cooperated with the authorities. Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be the factors of the incident. 

Further information has yet to be released by the officers. Investigations are ongoing.
