[06-19-2024] At Least One Person Hospitalized Following Multi-Vehicle Collision Involving Semi-Truck in Clovis At least one person was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck in Clovis on Wednesday morning, June 19, 2024. 

According to the Clovis Police Department, the crash happened on Barstow and Pollasky Avenues. 

Authorities stated that a semi-truck, a tractor-trailer, and two pickup trucks were involved in the collision. The semi-truck reportedly ran a red light, resulting in the crash. Details on how the collision occurred and on the identities of the people involved have yet to be disclosed once they are available. 

Police said that one person was transported to the hospital for medical assessment. No information is available on the victim’s condition. As of this writing, it is unclear if anyone else was injured. 

The cause of the collision remains unknown. Roads were shut down for approximately one hour while tow truck crews cleared the crash site.

Further information has yet to be released by the authorities. Investigations are ongoing.
