[06-28-2024] Riverside County, CA – Injuries Reported Following Multi-Vehicle Crash, Including Semi-Truck Along I-10

Injuries were reported following a multi-vehicle crash, including a semi-truck, in Riverside County on Friday morning, June 28, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the freeway crash happened at about 8:30 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 10, east of Singleton Road and west of the SR-60 interchange within the San Gorgonio Pass Area.

The circumstances of the collision are still unclear, but officers described it as an injury crash. At least one ambulance was called to provide immediate treatment or transportation to those involved in the incident. CHP has yet to release the number of injured individuals and the extent of the injuries sustained.

Other motorists are warned of the heavy traffic slowdown around the crash site.

The CHP is still investigating the vehicular incident. It is not immediately known if alcohol, drugs, or speeding played a role in the collision.
