[06-29-2024] Tulare County, CA – Two People Injured Following Two-Vehicle Rollover Collision in Visalia

Two people were injured following a two-vehicle rollover collision in Visalia on Saturday afternoon, June 29, 2024.

According to the Visalia Police Department, the incident occurred at about 4:00 p.m. on Walnut Avenue and Giddings Street.

VPD said one vehicle rolled into a nearby fireworks stand after the crash. It was later confirmed that no one was at the stand at the time of the incident and that no fireworks were set on accident.

Both drivers reportedly sustained minor injuries. They were transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care. It is not immediately known if they were the sole occupant in their respective vehicles when the crash happened.

Investigators are still working to determine the circumstances surrounding the vehicular incident. There is no word yet on the possibility of drugs, alcohol, or speeding as contributing factors.

Other motorists were advised to stay clear of the area while the authorities investigated and cleared the scene.
