[07-07-2024] Riverside County, CA – 71-Year-Old Man Killed After Motorcycle Vs. Vehicle Collision in Lake Elsinore

A 71-year-old man was killed after a motorcycle vs. vehicle collision in Lake Elsinore on Sunday morning, July 7, 2024. 

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened around 9:20 a.m. at Lakeshore Drive and Avenue Six. 

Investigators stated that a motorcycle rider, identified as 71-year-old Nicholas K. from Lake Elsinore, was traveling on the roadway when his motorcycle collided with a vehicle. The victim was ejected from his bike, resulting in severe injuries. Emergency personnel began to perform life-saving measures, but he was declared dead at the scene. 

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle, whose identity was not immediately known, talked to the authorities and cooperated with the investigation. It is unknown what caused the collision. Drugs and alcohol were ruled out as factors in the crash. 

Further details regarding the incident have yet to be released. Witnesses are encouraged to come forward and call the Riverside County Sheriff’s Dispatch at 951-776-1099.
