[08-15-2024] Woman Fatally Struck by Box Truck in Glen Park NeighborhoodA woman was fatally struck by a box truck in San Francisco’s Glen Park neighborhood on Thursday afternoon, August 15, 2024.

The incident occurred at approximately 2:50 p.m. at the intersection of Bosworth and Diamond Streets. 

Officers from the San Francisco Police Department responded to a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision and found the woman suffering from severe injuries. Despite immediate aid, she was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the box truck remained on the scene. Police stated that impairment due to drugs or alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.

The SFPD Traffic Collision Investigations Unit is currently investigating the incident. Authorities have not released additional information at this time.
