A person was taken to the hospital in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in south Sacramento early Friday afternoon, August 16, 2024.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the incident occurred at around 12:11 p.m. near Stockton Boulevard and Elder Creek Road.
The circumstances leading up to the pedestrian being struck are unclear at this time. However, Sacramento police reported that the person was transported to the hospital in critical but stable condition.
