A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a large vehicle on northbound U.S. Highway 101 in San Jose early Thursday morning, September 12, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. under Story Road.
The CHP reported that the pedestrian was found lying in the right lane when the vehicle struck them.
