Three people died after a car crash in Fresno County on Friday morning, September 13, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred just before 2:45 a.m. at Kearney Boulevard and Garfield Avenue.
The driver of the 2007 Honda Civic was traveling eastbound when the vehicle veered off the roadway.
The civic struck a palm tree and caught fire, trapping all three occupants inside. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers say alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
