A motorcyclist died from injuries sustained after a collision with a car in San Jose on Tuesday morning, September 10, 2024.
According to the San Jose Police Department, the crash occurred at approximately 6:24 a.m. when a gray Toyota turning left onto southbound Lucretia Avenue from Granada Way struck a red Yamaha motorcycle traveling north on Lucretia Avenue.
The motorcyclist, an adult male, was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Despite being stabilized, he succumbed to his injuries on Thursday.
The victim’s identity has not been released. The Toyota was occupied by an adult female driver and an adult female passenger. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
