One person and a horse were killed, and another was injured after a solo vehicle crash on Interstate 15 in Norco on Sunday morning, September 22, 2024.
The collision occurred around 1:57 a.m. on the northbound route at 6th Street, as stated by the California Highway Patrol.
Witnesses reported seeing several horses running in both the northbound and southbound lanes, including one that may have been struck by a motorist.
The California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert to close all lanes of northbound Interstate 15 south of the Limonite Avenue off-ramp, while the Fast Track lanes remained open.
The investigation is ongoing.
