A 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed following a crash involving a vehicle in Porterville on Sunday afternoon, September 29, 2024.
Porterville Police Department officers responded to the crash at around 12:20 p.m. at the intersection of Henderson Avenue and Balmoral Drive.
Despite lifesaving efforts, the motorcyclist succumbed to major injuries sustained in the crash. The driver of the vehicle involved was unharmed.
Authorities state that alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors, but the investigation remains ongoing.
