A two-vehicle crash in Florin, Sacramento County, sent three individuals to the hospital on Tuesday evening, October 1, 2024.
Emergency crews from the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District responded to reports of a collision around 5:00 p.m. on Elk Grove Florin Road near Bridalsmith Drive.
Upon arrival, responders found one of the vehicles had ended up in a canal, requiring the extraction of an adult and two children.
One adult was transported to the hospital with major injuries, while the two children were taken with minor to moderate injuries. Two occupants from the other vehicle involved refused medical transport.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation by authorities.
