A pedestrian was fatally injured in a collision on Yosemite Boulevard in Stanislaus County early Friday morning, October 4, 2024.
Deputies from the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 12000 block of Yosemite Blvd around 3:00 a.m. and found a pedestrian with severe injuries.
Officers performed life-saving measures before the individual was transported to a nearby hospital. Despite medical efforts, the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries.
The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
