A woman sustained head injuries after a suspected DUI driver crashed an Aston Martin DBS into an SUV on East Pacific Coast Highway in Newport Beach on Sunday evening, October 6, 2024.
According to authorities, Newport Beach police and firefighters were called to the 7700 block of East Pacific Coast Highway around 7:00 p.m., where an Aston Martin DBS reportedly lost control and collided with a red SUV near the Crystal Cove Shake Shack.
Witnesses reported that the driver stumbled during a sobriety test, leading to his arrest on suspicion of DUI. The injured woman was transported to a hospital for treatment, though her condition remains unknown.
