A 16-year-old girl and an 18-year-old man are lucky to be alive after the car they were in rolled 250 feet down a hill in Fresno County on Wednesday afternoon, November 13, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 3:45 p.m. when the 16-year-old girl, driving north on Sky Harbor Road, drifted to the right, hit a mountain, and then swerved left, causing the car to leave the road.
The vehicle rolled several times down the hill, splitting several trees before coming to a stop. Despite the severity of the crash, both occupants sustained only minor injuries. The driver complained of shoulder pain and was transported to the hospital, while the 18-year-old passenger walked up the hill by himself.
