Two people suffered life-threatening injuries after a white Ford pickup truck drove off Highway 178 near Mobile Drive in Bakersfield on Tuesday morning, November 26, 2024.
The crash was reported around 11:22 a.m. when the vehicle went down an embankment approximately 30 feet deep, according to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information Page.
Both individuals were rescued by emergency crews and transported to a nearby hospital. Their current conditions remain unknown.
