A man is injured after being stabbed inside a Walmart in North Highlands, Sacramento County, on Saturday night, December 7, 2024.
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred at 7:30 p.m. at the Walmart Supercenter on Watt Avenue.
Authorities say the man was near the bike aisle when he got into an argument with two disruptive juveniles in the store.
The victim sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Walmart security detained one of the juveniles, who was turned over to deputies, while the other suspect fled the scene.
The sheriff’s office is actively working to identify the second suspect involved in the stabbing.
The investigation is ongoing.
