Two people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash resulted in an SUV crashing into a building in downtown Bakersfield early Monday morning, December 9, 2024.
The collision occurred shortly after 12:30 a.m. Bakersfield police reported that a black sedan and a gray SUV collided, causing the SUV to crash into an old furniture building.
The driver of the sedan sustained major injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries and was also taken to the hospital.
The incident remains under investigation by local authorities.
