At least one person was seriously injured, and five others sustained minor injuries in a vehicle crash near Buttonwillow in Kern County on Tuesday afternoon, December 31, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported at approximately 3:42 p.m. near the intersection of Mirasol Avenue and Buerkle Avenue.
At least one vehicle involved in the crash was found against a power pole when officers arrived at the scene.
Emergency responders confirmed that six individuals were involved in the crash, with one person sustaining serious injuries. The remaining five were treated for minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation, and no further details have been released.
