A driver was killed, and another sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a multi-vehicle collision in Banning on Monday afternoon, December 30, 2024.
The Banning Police Department reported receiving a call about the crash at approximately 3:50 p.m. in the 5200 block of W. Ramsey Street.
Upon arrival, authorities found two vehicles involved in the collision and two additional parked vehicles that were damaged but unoccupied.
The driver, who was ejected from their vehicle, suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene despite treatment efforts. The identity of the deceased has not been released.
The other involved driver was treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital, where they are expected to recover.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
