A 63-year-old man, identified as George T. from Costa Mesa, died after being struck by two vehicles on First Street in Santa Ana on Friday evening, January 3, 2025.
According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the collision occurred just before 6:00 p.m. near the intersection of First and Center streets.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the pedestrian was walking in the eastbound lanes of First Street when he was struck by two vehicles.
Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Authorities reported that neither driver appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The Santa Ana Police Department’s Collision Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate the crash.
