Two men were killed in a suspected DUI crash involving two pickup trucks in Fresno on Monday night, January 6, 2025.
According to Fresno police, the collision occurred shortly before 7:20 p.m. at the intersection of Belmont and Palm.
A man driving a black truck with its headlights off reportedly ran a red light and struck a gold-colored truck in the intersection.
The impact caused the gold truck to overturn and come to rest in the parking lot of a nearby gas station.
The driver of the gold truck was pronounced dead at the scene, and his passenger was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities arrested the driver of the black truck on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The incident remains under investigation.
