Five individuals, including several children, were hospitalized following a collision between a car and a pickup truck in Chula Vista on Monday night, January 6, 2025.
According to the Chula Vista Police Department, the crash occurred at approximately 11:00 p.m. on H Street, near Hilltop Senior High School and west of Interstate 805.
Both vehicles were totaled in the collision, prompting the closure of westbound lanes as first responders worked to clear the scene.
The CVPD is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
