A woman was critically injured after being struck by a car on Oasis Street near Highway 111 in Indio on Friday evening, January 10, 2025.
According to the Indio Police Department, the incident occurred just before 7:30 p.m. near the Indio Jail and the Larson Justice Center parking lot.
Police confirmed that the driver involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
The woman is in critical but stable condition.
