A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries following a collision with a car in Imperial Beach on Thursday morning, January 9, 2025.
According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, officers responded to the crash in the 1300 block of Palm Avenue shortly after 8:00 a.m.
Upon arrival, deputies found the motorcyclist unconscious and lying face down on the ground. They began life-saving measures until paramedics arrived. The motorcyclist was breathing when transported to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the car remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities.
The Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction (STAR) Team is investigating the cause of the collision.
