Two people were injured in a head-on collision on Highway 1 in southern San Luis Obispo County on Wednesday afternoon, February 5, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 3:53 p.m. near Via Concha Road at the top of the hill, blocking both lanes of traffic.
Emergency responders extricated one person from their vehicle, who sustained moderate injuries, while the other individual suffered minor injuries and was able to exit their vehicle independently.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
