A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle on southbound Interstate 280 in San Francisco early Monday morning, March 3, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers were alerted to the crash at approximately 12:10 a.m. after reports that a pedestrian had been hit by a sedan near the Geneva Avenue on-ramp.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries. Their identity has not yet been released.
No additional details about the crash were immediately available. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
