One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash near the Gossamer Grove community in Shafter on Saturday evening, March 8, 2025.
According to the Shafter Police Department, officers were dispatched around 5:38 p.m. to the intersection of 7th Standard Road and Gossamer Grove Boulevard following reports of a collision.
Upon arrival, officers found two vehicles involved in the crash. One driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
It remains unclear if anyone else was injured in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
