One man was killed, and two others were injured following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 12 near the community of Wallace in Calaveras County on Sunday evening, March 23, 2025.
According to the Calaveras Consolidated Fire Department, the crash involved two vehicles. An adult male died at the scene, while an adult female sustained major injuries and was airlifted to a hospital in the Central Valley. Another adult male suffered minor injuries.
Emergency responders included Clements Fire, CAL Fire, American Legion Ambulance, and Reach Air Ambulance.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the fatal collision.
