A woman was killed and a man was injured following a multi-vehicle hit-and-run collision on Bayshore Boulevard in Brisbane early Monday morning, March 24, 2025.
According to the Brisbane Police Department, first responders were dispatched around 5:15 a.m. to the 3700 block of Bayshore Boulevard, where they found three vehicles involved in the crash.
Two of the drivers were transported to the hospital. A 60-year-old woman later died from her injuries, while a 35-year-old man was hospitalized in stable condition.
The third driver involved allegedly fled the scene before emergency personnel arrived. Authorities later identified the suspect as a 37-year-old Burlingame resident, who was arrested and booked into San Mateo County Jail on charges including hit-and-run causing injury, hit-and-run causing death, and vehicular manslaughter.
It has not yet been confirmed whether alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
