A pregnant woman sustained minor injuries in a hit-and-run collision involving three vehicles near Interstate 80 and Truxel Road in Natomas, Sacramento, on Saturday afternoon, March 29, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m., resulting in two individuals being transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The pregnant woman was among the injured, and authorities confirmed that the fetus was stable. One of the parties involved in the collision fled the scene.
The Sacramento Police Department confirmed that its helicopter assisted the CHP in locating the suspect. The helicopter was observed circling the Truxel Road and Gateway Park Boulevard intersection around 4:35 p.m.
The suspect was arrested after being located by officers, according to the CHP.
