One person was injured, and a driver was arrested for suspected DUI following a two-vehicle crash at the Calloway Drive and Hageman Road intersection in Bakersfield on Wednesday evening, April 9, 2025.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, at around 6:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to the scene after reports that a vehicle traveling westbound on Calloway Drive ran a red light and collided with another vehicle.
One person sustained minor injuries in the crash. The driver suspected of running the red light showed signs of impairment and was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence.
The Bakersfield Police are investigating the incident.
